As an Engineer, I worked primarily in the defence and security sector, first for the MOD on programmes such as Eurofighter Typhoon and also on a number of technology demonstrators with NATO partners. I then joined Lockheed Martin where I was a Lead Engineer on the Royal Navy's Merlin Mk1 Helicopter Programme through to the end of the development phase.

Subsequently, as an internal, then external consultant, I have worked across the whole business lifecycle, from strategy to R&D, from sales and bidding to project closure across the maritime, rail, nuclear, aerospace, defence, security, IT, financial services, highways, healthcare, business process outsourcing, construction, and professional services sectors.

I was the Head of Strategic Services Consulting and a Board Director at Shipley UK for 22 years until 2026, and I have been solving complex engineering and business problems for my entire career.

I combine the practicality of the Engineer and the human insights of the Psychometrist, with more than 30 years of real-world experience to provide independent advisory services, centred on change management for organisations, projects and individuals.
